FLOORING - How to care for your new floor
Chemical spills should be cleaned immediately. Kitchen floors should be cleaned once a day. General machine and oil change shops should be cleaned 3 times per week. However for normal residential garages, once a month is sufficient; although, frequent cleaning is recommended for optimum performance.
1) Sweep entire surface to be cleaned.
2) Let proper cleansing solution soak floor for 10 minutes. DO NOT use any soap-based products, because they dull the floor and can make it extremely slippery when the floor gets damp or wet.
3) Scrub floor than rinse well. If rinsing is not adequate, there will be a white residue which can corrode most mild steel.
4) Standing water should be flat squeegeed or vacuumed away. The floor should never be left to air dry.
