| FLOORING - How to care for your new
floor |
| Chemical spills should be cleaned
immediately. Kitchen floors should be cleaned once a day. General
machine and oil change shops should be cleaned 3 times per week.
However for normal residential garages, once a month is sufficient;
although, frequent cleaning is recommended for optimum performance. |
| 1) |
Sweep entire surface to be cleaned. |
| 2) |
Let proper cleansing solution soak floor
for 10 minutes. DO NOT use any soap-based products, because
they dull the floor and can make it extremely slippery
when the floor gets damp or wet. |
| 3) |
Scrub floor than rinse well. If rinsing
is not adequate, there will be a white residue which can
corrode most mild steel. |
| 4) |
Standing water should be flat
squeegeed or vacuumed away. The floor should never be
left to air dry. |
